Patty Mulligan, a professor of human development, is the owner of Coastal Sanctuary Wellness, a peaceful retreat in Arroyo Grande, California. She enjoys hosting guests from all over the world, and introducing them to the freely available natural resources nearby, including beaches, hiking trails, monarch butterfly gardens, and farmers' markets.
